Momma and Papa

We have had Tatiana with us for two and a half days. She is doing so well we are amazed with her. She is now calling Momma and Papa when she needs us. We are staying with the Ramseys and she is a little shy with them. Yesterday we explored some of the markets and we bought a stroller as we are doing much walking...Tatiana loves the stroller. She also loves to be in the sling and to have me carry her. I took her for a walk down by the Angara river yesterday and she was hesitant to get out. Finally when we stopped at a fountain I pointed out a little boy who was putting his hands in the water. Well, that was enough to get her out and on her feet! She loves water and smiled so big as she leaned over to touch the water. Today the Ramsey's will go to court to finalize the adoption of Alex...we are praying for them that all goes well. In two days it will be our turn to see the judge and formally ask for her permision to be Tatiana's parents. At home we have heard that Caleb and Jared are having fun...wonderful news. It is such a blessing to know that there are so many people who will watch out for them while we are away. Our dog, Emma, has torn her ACL and will need surgery! We know she is in good hands with Corina, Scott, Alaina and Corbin and that she will get all of the tender loving care she needs. We love reading the comments and e-mails that you have sent. It helps to feel connected with home. Only twenty four more days until we return!!---Melanie
